This EC7 project is something that Gary has thought about for many years and a project that he is very passionate about. He and the team are providing football sessions to a variety of children and adults of all abilities. The main objectives at EC7 are to build self esteem, confidence, social skills and improve the mental and physical wellbeing of our players. We do this through our variation of football sessions in a non pressured environment so they can express themselves and be proud of their achievements. Football can help so many and can also make you feel a part of something. In a game that we love!
Our team at EC7 are dedicated to our players wellbeing. Listening to our players, being approachable to players and parents, always willing to learn new things about football, teaching respect and fairness in all that we do. Teaching players how to treat others and also how to treat themselves. We all love football! We love playing it, watching it and coaching it and that is exactly why we have this team of coaches because they want the best for the players and they are great coaches and amazing people.
We want to provide more opportunities for more people to get involved with what we do at EC7. To help others gain experience in what they like doing, whether that be playing, refereeing, coaching, filming, editing, social media and much more. We want to create opportunities for others where it can help them grow in confidence, experience and showcase their talents. Although as of right now we are offering football sessions, we have aspirations for much more. For now though, it’s boots on and game on!
Leading by example. Raising the bar. Flying the flag for respect and diversity.
As an England Football Accredited Club, we exist for the players and create opportunities for everyone to experience and enjoy the game we love.
Respect isn’t just earned on the pitch, its earned off of it as well. When we talk about Respect, we are talking about the positive environment we want to encourage across all of football.
It’s about making the game a better place for all to enjoy.
Football’s not just about the professionals. It’s for everyone.
